On Sunday, October 25, 2020, the White House will celebrate Halloween with  trick-or-treaters in costumes.  "Gates will open to frontline workers, military families and schoolchildren, accompanied by their parents, from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM., " stated the Office of the First Lady. 

Vice President Pence plans to deliver remarks at Make America Great Again! Events in Pennsylvania and Ohio. He and Second Lady Pence plan to early vote today. Second Lady Karen also supports employee licensing reform for military spouses to help them earn better employment.

I listened to part of a planning meeting for the reconstruction of playgrounds in Brooklyn in the Kingsborough Houses complex. Mayor de Blasio's administration provided $5 million for the reconstruction.  People suggested more seating for families and more play equipment for all ages. Yesterday, I listened to a call with senior administration officials from the White House about non-union Delphi retirees who lost some of their pension during the automobile crisis. President Trump sent a memorandum to see what his administration can do about recovering their lost pensions and preventing it from happening to other U.S. citizens. 

The National Retail Federation on Tuesday, October 27, at 11 a.m. ET. will host a a webinar with Mr. John Furner, president and CEO of Walmart U.S. and second vice chair of the NRF Board. Mr. Furner will be interviewed by NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay. They will talk about what Mr. Furner learned this year as a C.E.O. of Walmart U.S..

News of the World ,is a new film starring Tom Hanks and Helena Zengel, will be released in December.  Tom Hanks plays a Civil War veteran named Captain Jefferson Kyle Kidd.  He travels telling tales to the people, and meets a girl who was taken from her family and raised by the Kiowa people.  Her family wants her back. Does she want to go back to her family? Captain Jefferson Kyle Kidd plans to deliver her to her family.  The film is based on a best-selling novel by Paulette Jiles and is directed by Paul Greengrass.
