I watched the NY State Conference N.A.A.C.P. Virtual Convention on Saturday.
On Friday Mr. Carl T. Granvil was the Master of Ceremony. The opening prayer was by Rev. Dr. Agnes Blackmon, the Religious Affairs Chair of the N.A.A.C.P. New York State Conference. The opening greetings was delivered by Dr. Hazel N. Dukes, the President of the N.A.A.C.P. New York State Conference. Special messages were given by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, (D-NY), Honorable Andrea Stewart-Cousins the New York State Senate Majority Leader from the 35th District. Honorable Carl Heastie the New York State Assembly Speaker, Mr. Leon Russell, Chairman N.A.A.C.P. National Board of Directors, Mr. Derrick Johnson, the President of the N.A.A.C.P. and more.
On Saturday, you had greetings from Governor Cuomo of New York. Tracey Edwards , the Long Island Regional Director of the the N.A.A.C.P. hosted the convention. The Economic Development workshop was very interesting. Mr. Gary A. Johnson hosted the workshop. We must fight for more legislation for minority businesses and more capitol said Mr. Paul Williams of Williams Strategy Advisors (wsastrategyadvisors.com) during the economic development workshop.

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced the opening of the new Cliffside Mountain Coaster at Mt. Van Hoevenberg.

Van Hoevenberg complex," Governor Cuomo said. Indoor dining returned to NYC this month. The Mayor said he prefers outdoor dining in warm weather. He visited Melba's in Harlem and Mario's on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx recently.
On Friday, Mayor de Blasio appeared live on WNYC’s The Brian Lehrer Show. The Mayor took questions from listeners. The Mayor discussed the school system. "So, so far the overall system is doing very well," the Mayor said.
