BET Produced a New Television Series Named "Uptown", The Record Company Founded by Mr. Andre Harrell & Several New BET Shows

BET (Black Entertainment Television) Networks announced new miniseries Uptown. Uptown, the television series, is executive produced by Jesse Collins (The New Edition Story, The Bobby Brown Story) for Jesse Collins Entertainment and Andre Harrell (Honey, New York Undercover). Writers Charles Murray (Luke Cage, Sons of Anarchy), Carlito Rodriguez (Empire, The Leftovers) and Barry Michael Cooper (New Jack City, She’s Gotta Have It) wrote the television show's scripts.

The three-part television miniseries will tell the cyclopedic story of Andre Harrell’s iconic New York City record label, Uptown Records.  Born in 1986, following a venture deal with Universal Records, Andre Harrell's Uptown Records played a vital role in the careers of some of the most influential voices in hip hop, soul and R&B, including rapper Heavy D. & The Boyz, Mr. Russell Simmons (the prior co-owner and founder of Def Jam and the clothing line Phat Farm and Baby Phat, attended college with Def Jam's co-founder and former co-owner, Mr. Rick Rubin. Run-DMC was Def Jam musical artist), Mr. Lyor Cohen ( I interviewed Mr. Cohen, the very tall guy, con fashion designer Ms. Tory Burch at VH1! Save the Music. He gets Gas Face! Funny song.), singer Ms. Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, Father MC, Mr. Al B. Sure, singer Mr. Christopher Williams, singer and music producer Teddy Riley, Sean “Diddy” Combs (founder of Sean John) and many more.  I interviewed Mr. Harrell - he is nice. Uptown's kickin' it. Treat BET (Black Entertainment Television) like wants to be treated.

Mr. Tyler Perry sponsored my book fair at the Nyack Public Library in the past.  Tyler Perry’s The Oval is on BET. Google to learn the time it airs on BET.  The show is interesting!  I am White House Correspondent, yet I need advertisers on Intelligent Luxurys' internet television show!

BET's premium streaming service BET+ plans to stream Tyler Perry’s Bruh and Tyler Perry’s Ruthless. "The first series to complete production, Tyler Perry’s Bruh, produced by Perry exclusively for BET+, examines the world of dating, career, and friendship in a present-day society for a group of 30-something-year-old college friends. The second series currently in production, Tyler Perry’s Ruthless, will serve as a spin-off to the popular linear series Tyler Perry’s The Oval. The new one-hour drama follows a young woman named Ruth into the dark underworld of a fanatical religious cult. Tyler Perry’s Bruh and Tyler Perry’s Ruthless are written, directed and executive produced by Tyler Perry. Michelle Sneed will also serve as Executive Producer of the series for Tyler Perry Studios," wrote a BET representative.
