Music in Motion Sponsored NJ Transit

NJ TRANSIT announces the return of the Music in Motion concert series as part of the celebration for the agency’s 40^th Anniversary. Music in Motion is a community-based initiative that allows local musicians to perform in NJ TRANSIT bus terminals, plus rail and light rail stations. Music in Motion first began as part of NJ TRANSIT’s 25^th Anniversary celebration in 2004. 

The musical performers offer up their talents while customers get a glimpse of the region’s up-and-coming musicians performing in major stations and terminals.   

Performances are Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the following stations:

• Hoboken Terminal Waiting Room 
• Secaucus Junction Rotunda
• Penn Station New York
• Newark Penn Station
• Upper Montclair Station
• Roselle Park                                              
• Rahway Station 

NJ TRANSIT is searching for musicians to audition for Music in Motion. Please e-mail music@njtransit.com for more information.

Businesses located inside/close to a bus terminal or rail and light rail station and would be interested in hosting a Music in Motion performance are also encouraged to contact NJ TRANSIT at music@njtransit.com.

Performers already lined up to entertain customers for this current season are: Gerrard Perry, Andrew Wholf, Kenny Cunningham, Chelsea Carlson, Amanda Rose Riley, George Young, Joseph Frame Jr., Kelly Flatley, Marel Hidalgo, Melanie Marie Rodriguez, Nathan Riehl, Paul Anthony and John Arthur.
