IMPACT WEEK

The reintroduced Miami Marlins Foundation kicked off its inaugural Impact Week last Friday, a series of seven events in seven days that aim to make a difference in South Florida's youth by creating opportunities to foster an active lifestyle, achieve academic success, and build leadership skills. As part of Impact Week, an online raffle auction - featuring unique experiences and memorabilia - is available for fans to participate in to benefit the Miami Marlins Foundation programs. Bidding is now available at Marlins.com/ImpactWeek.

Today is the final day of Impact Week. Today's event gets Miami's minor leaguers involved, as more than a dozen prospects will host a Youth Baseball and Softball instructional clinic for members of the Boys and Girls Club of Palm Beach and Martin County at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. The clinic will be divided into skills and mentoring stations to allow for participants to learn how to be a professional athlete on and off the field.
