Fifth Annual Healthcare Explorers’ Day at Lehigh Valley Health Network for 63 seventh grade students of St. Thomas More School

  Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is sponsoring the Fifth Annual Healthcare Explorers’ Day for 63 seventh grade students of St. Thomas More School, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown.  Martin Martino, MD, Gynecologic Oncology, Lehigh Valley Cancer Institute and Sarah Jones Sapienza, MD, General Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital, are the event coordinators in conjunction with LVHN’s Department of Education and Summer Scholars program.



                                Various demonstrations will take place during a series of morning sessions including:

·         Robotic surgery simulation

·         Stop the Bleed

·         Coronary angiography

·         Smoking/vaping lung slides
