I saw several SummerStage concerts in Central Park in Manhattan in New York City, New York starring Lauryn Hill, Special Ed and M.I.A.. You might need to stand during these concerts. The park is patrolled by NYPD!
Kool DJ Red Alert, Pete Rock, The Metropolitan Summer Recital Series, George Lamond, Jungle Brothers, Special Ed, Nice & Smooth, Ginuwine, Cece Peniston, Taleb Kweli, Melanie Fiona, Judy Torres and Spanish Harlem Orchestra star this summer in separate concerts in Central Park. The Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and Queens serenade citizens in concerts in the park.
