Lemon Apple Oatmeal Danish


Lemon Apple Oatmeal Danish

Filling
1 Apple
3 Lemons
3 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Tbsp Corn Syrup

Dough
2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Oatmeal
1/4 Cup Sugar
4 Tbsp Butter
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1 1/8 Tbsp Baking Powder
1/4 Cup Cream Cheese
1/8 Cup Milk

Chop the apples and lemon wedges in to small pieces or cubes. Mix in the other filling ingredients.  Mix the flour, oatmeal, sugar, vanilla extract, baking powder, cream cheese and milk to make the dough.  Roll the dough into a flat circle and dent the middle. Fill the middle with filling. Bake until brown. 

Round: Add 1 Cup of flour to make the round dough drier, fold over filling and bake until brown.
