New color printer for a medium or large office.   “Today’s digital workplace demands are such that companies need solutions that are fast, easy to use and enable productivity, and our new printers and software are designed to do just that,” said George Toh, vice president, Dell Imaging. “At Dell, we are always listening to our customers, which is why we’re so excited to offer both our latest Color Smart Printers and our innovative new solution of OpenManage Printer Essentials.”  We didn't try to use the Dell S3840cdn.  The Dell S3840cdn is a color laser printer and the S3845cdn is a copier, scanner and fax machine too. Dell users can print wirelessly with a special adapter.  1200x1200 dpi printing for both Dell printers.

Both Color Smart printers meet the latest regulatory and environmental standards, including ENERGY STAR qualification, Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliance and EPEAT Silver registration.

OpenManage Printer Essentials are available now on Dell.com for both printers. The Dell Color Smart Printer (S3840cdn) sells for USD $599 and the Dell Color Smart Multifunction Printer (S3845dn) sells for USD $999 stated the press release from Dell.com.  Dell provides 24/7 support   with more support available with Dell ProSupport™ service options.
